Shipping policy

Dry Goods & Livestock Shipping

Dry goods and live livestock ship separately to ensure proper handling and safe delivery. Orders containing both will arrive in separate packages and may arrive on different days. Separate shipping charges may apply and will be displayed at checkout.

Drop Shipping

Drop-shipped items ship directly from the manufacturer and are identified on the product page and at checkout. Shipping costs, processing times, and estimated delivery times vary by manufacturer and are provided when ordering online.

Please review the Shipping Information section in the product description and the shipping estimates shown at checkout before placing your order.

Live Shipping Policy – Seven Seas Aquatics

At Seven Seas Aquatics, the health and safety of our livestock is our top priority. To ensure the best possible delivery conditions, we follow a strict shipping schedule and method.

Shipping Method

All orders are shipped via Priority Overnight shipping only.

Shipping Days

We ship Monday - Wednesdays to help avoid weekend delays and ensure timely delivery.
Orders placed outside of our shipping window will be scheduled for the next available shipping day.

Free Shipping

We offer FREE Priority Overnight Shipping on orders of $400 or more (before tax, where applicable).

Order Processing

Orders are carefully prepared and packed to ensure safe arrival. Processing times may vary based on livestock availability and order volume.

Shipping Address & Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing a valid and accurate delivery address. Someone must be available to receive the package on the delivery date. We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect shipping information or missed deliveries.

Carrier Delays

While Priority Overnight shipping is used, delivery times are not guaranteed by the carrier. Seven Seas Aquatics is not responsible for carrier delays, weather-related issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA)

We guarantee live arrival on all livestock orders when delivery requirements are met. In the rare event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), customers must notify Seven Seas Aquatics within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos of the livestock inside the original, unopened bag.

DOA claims are not valid if:

  • The delivery is delayed by the carrier

  • No one is available to receive the package

  • The package is left unattended

  • The order is not held at a FedEx staffed facility when recommended

  • Weather conditions are deemed unsafe for shipping

Approved DOA claims will be issued as store credit only (shipping costs are non-refundable).

For the safety of our livestock, shipping may be delayed due to unsafe weather conditions, including extreme temperatures or storms near your location or major FedEx hubs.
