What Makes It a Mystery?

That's the fun part! Our team selects three SPS coral frags from our available inventory.

Your box could include varieties such as Acropora, Montipora, Stylophora, Pocillopora, or other SPS corals, depending on availability.

You won't know exactly which corals you're receiving until you open your box!

Whether you're expanding an established SPS collection or looking to try something new, our mystery box is a great way to discover corals you might not have picked out yourself.

Recommended Care

SPS corals are known for their beautiful colors and growth patterns, but they generally require more stable water conditions than many soft corals and LPS varieties.

Care Level: Moderate to Advanced
Lighting: Moderate to High (150–350 PAR, depending on species)
Water Flow: Moderate to High, Variable
Placement: Middle to Upper, depending on species
Temperature: 75–80°F
Salinity: 1.024–1.026
Alkalinity: 8–9.5 dKH
Calcium: 400–450 ppm
Magnesium: 1250–1350 ppm
Nitrate: 2–15 ppm
Phosphate: 0.03–0.10 ppm

Because every SPS variety is different, lighting, flow, and placement requirements may vary. We recommend researching each coral you receive and gradually acclimating it to your aquarium.

Important Information

Photos are for illustration purposes. Actual coral varieties, colors, frag sizes, and appearances will vary depending on availability.

Each mystery box includes three SPS coral frags selected by Seven Seas Aquatics. Specific varieties cannot be guaranteed.

For the best results, we recommend an established reef aquarium with stable water chemistry and appropriate lighting and water flow.
